Using the Makefiles that come with wxWidgets (version 2) is out of date

I believe that this section should be removed or achieved.

Reasons are:

  • It doesn't work - I followed the steps described and didn't manage to get bash or sh under cmd.
  • The BAT file and the multitude of paths seem unnecessary.
  • To my knowledge, the latest MinGW installation has no longer issue with mkdir.
  • It's long - I've included an alternative version (version 1), which is much shorter.

Last but not least: This article is really about MSYS-MinGW; shouldn't we have a pure MinGW under a different article?
